HI-TEC OILS RE-SIGNS WITH TOOWOOMBA SPEEDWAY

Australian based lubricants retailer, Hi-Tec Oils has resigned as naming rights sponsor for Toowoomba Speedway’s 2017/18 season.

Speedway Events Manager, Ben Bishop was proud of the association with the brand, which is becoming well and truly established in the Australian market.

“Everywhere you go in Australian Motorsport you see the Hi-Tec logo, from Supercars, to Drifting, to the Finke Desert Race, so for us to be the only venue with Hi-Tec Oils naming rights is a privilege and a great vote of confidence in what we are trying to achieve to take the sport forward.”

Hi-Tec Oils founder George Gambino echoed Bishop’s thoughts.

“After the venue won “Most Improved Speedway” at last years’ Speedway Australia Awards, it was confirmation that we had invested in the right place and the right people. Twelve months on, they’re still working very hard to take the sport of Speedway into the future and present it the way it deserves to be presented and we are excited to have our brand associated with a venue that has that sort of vision.”

September 23 is locked in for the Grand Opening of the season with the Carnival of Power featuring the first round of the Queensland Ultimate Sprintcar Championship.
The season will feature six rounds of the USC, while New years Speed returns with the Super Sedan Summer Slam and four Sportsman events, a new initiative that focuses on the hobby racer and building the sport’s competitor base.
