AMERICAN SPRINTCAR ACES TOOWOOMBA BOUND

Two American Sprintcar aces will take on Australia's best at this Tuesday's round of World Series Sprintcars at Toowoomba's Hi-Tec Oils Speedway.

Californian Carson Macedo and Pennsylvania's Logan Schuchart is set to take on Australia's best including Iowa based two-time national champion Kerry Madsen, previous World Series champions, Brooke Tatnell and James McFadden along with reigning champion Jamie Veal.

"This is potentially the most stout field of Sprintcar talent Toowoomba has ever seen," said Ben Bishop, Toowoomba Speedway events manager.

"Kerry is the reigning Australian Champion and it's been at least six years since he raced in Toowoomba. He is really excited about coming back to see how much the venue has changed and now that it is high banked, it's very similar to a race track in Peveley, Missouri where he won the famous Ironman 55 race in 2014, so this sort of race track will suit him perfectly."

"Just to see Kerry circulate around here would be worth the price of admission alone, but then throw Carson and Logan into the mix as well as Brooke, James and Jamie taking on Queensland's best like Andrew Scheuerle, Peter Lack and Luke Oldfield and you have a guaranteed, edge of your seat night of entertainment."

Tickets are available at the gate from 3PM or right now at speedwaytickets.com.au. Racing starts 5 PM. For more details and weather updates, check out Hi-Tec Oils Speedway on Facebook or Toowoomba speedway.com
