HI-TEC RE-SIGNS WITH TOOWOOMBA SPEEDWAY

Australian based lubricants retailer, Hi-Tec Oils has resigned as naming rights sponsor for Toowoomba Speedway’s 2016/17 season.

Events Manager, Bennie Bishop was delighted to welcome the Hi-Tec team back, and noted their support as “a privilege.”

“The motorsport industry is so much wider than it was even a decade ago with so many new initiatives and racing disciplines around the country, so to have George and Mario along with their Queensland team throw their support behind us again as truly something we don’t take for granted. They could put their money anywhere and they’ve aligned with us again which is a wonderful privilege.”

Hi-Tec Oils founder George Gambino echoed Bishop’s thoughts, sighting Toowoomba’s rapid growth, reputation in the industry and the success of their major events as the motivation to sign on for another season.

“Toowoomba had a tough start to the season but they bounced back brilliantly in the new year with the the hugely successful Australian Wingless Sprint Title, the USC Chase and the Ultimate Pink Night which was fantastic.”

“We know they are capable of even more in the next season with eight USC rounds and two World Series Sprintcars events as well as two specialised Super Sedan shows so we can’t wait, and the response from our Hi-Tec Oils guests up there has been great too, so it will be great for us to continue to use the venue to increase our profile in the area too.”

The new season calendar will be officially released in the next week, with September 24 locked in for the Grand Opening featuring the opening round of the Queensland Ultimate Sprintcar Championship.
