3 EVENTS IN 8 DAYS FOR TOOWOOMBA!

Hi-Tec Oils Speedway is set to host three major events in eight days as the Ultimate Sprintcars return to the Toowoomba high banks on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and April 2.

The Good Friday event will be the stage for round six of the Queensland Ultimate Sprintcar Championship as well as round one of the Clay-Per-View Easter Triple Challenge, before the teams head to Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway on the Saturday for round two, before returning to Toowoomba for the final round of the Triple Challenge featuring a 50 lap feature race.

Then, on the following Saturday, April 2, the speedway will come alive again with the USC Grand Final that also doubles as Queensland’s round of the USC Chase Championship, with strong rumours of appearances by two-time Australian and World Series Sprintcars Champion, James McFadden and reigning Scott Darley Challenge, Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic and World Series Champion, Jamie Veal.

Events Manager, Ben Bishop was excited with the opportunity to host three major events, and more high profile drivers.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for speedway fans to see the best of the best on our freshly renovated speedway, and to have rumours of James McFadden returning and Jamie Veal up here for the first time on April 2 just sets a cat amongst the pigeons as they mix it with the Queenslanders and a healthy sprinkle of New South Welshmen,” he said.

“The staff and volunteers at the speedway are still on cloud nine after hosting a very successful Australian Wingless Sprint Championship last weekend, and we have been inundated with calls and messages of congratulations for hosting the event, and finally, we’ve found the ingredients for a great race track surface that can produce three lane racing on our 22 metre wide track.”

“If the weather is cooperative and we can prepare a track to the standard we had last Saturday, the fans and teams will witness some amazing racing, and combine that with the access to live replays on the Ultimate Screen at the venue, we’re set for three fantastic nights of family friendly entertainment at a very family friendly venue.”

Spectator entry for all three events at Toowoomba will be identical, with Adults $25, Pensioners and students with ID $20, 13-15 years old $15 and kids 12 and under free!
